The 67th annual International Venice Film Festival closed yesterday and was presided over by Quentin Tarantino.
Sofia Coppola's Somewhere won the Golden Lion and premieres in the U. S. this December.
I've always had mixed feelings about Sofia as a writer-director, so I'm actually more excited about the film that opened the fest, which is also slated for a stateside Dec. premiere: Black Swan. Not that I don't have my reservations about director Darren Aronofsky, either, but I'm just in love with this trailer:
